Yesterday we picked blackcurrants and made jam. Much fun was had by all.
It rained today, so gave us good opportunity to rehearse the play for our last day concert. Most of the children play multiple roles, so let’s hope the fun lasts, and they perform well on Friday for Mums and Dads. Schoolwork has taken a back seat because we have been spending so much time outdoors.

We went to Dublin Zoo on Wednesday, 4th May. Great excitement as we left on the train at 9am. For most children it was their first train journey. When we arrived in Dublin at 12 o’clock we took taxis to the zoo. The children had a wonderful time and the sun shone, and the highlight of the day was the feeding time for the penguins!
