The children have settled back into the new term with their usual good humour and enthusiasm. Even though we are confined to the classroom due to the atrocious weather, the birds visiting the feeders provide much entertainment. To day we enjoyed listening to the  thrush sing non stop.  The children were delighted when I told them that he was looking for a mate  and together they would build their nest.

They have settled so well into their work, taking on new challenges daily. The classroom is a hive of activity and at the moment insets and word building with the movable alphabet are very popular. We have finished an African animal project, proudly displayed on our wall. New work is being introduced daily and the children absorb and enjoy each new activity.
